Cameron Robert Carter-Vickers

Cameron Robert Carter-Vickers is an American centre-back born in Southend-on-Sea, England, on 31 December 1997. He joined Tottenham Hotspur’s academy after being scouted from local football and progressed rapidly through the club’s age groups. Carter-Vickers made his senior Tottenham debut in September 2016, featuring in a 5–0 EFL Cup victory over Gillingham. He then developed through loan spells in the English Football League, including periods with Sheffield United, Ipswich Town, Swansea City and Luton Town. In August 2021, he moved to Celtic on loan, scored on his debut against Ross County and established himself in the Scottish club’s defence. The transfer became permanent in June 2022, after which Carter-Vickers helped Celtic win domestic honours. Born in England, he chose the United States, made his senior debut in 2017 and started against Iran at the 2022 World Cup.
