Connor Clark Barron

Connor Clark Barron is a Scottish midfielder from Kintore who developed through Aberdeen’s academy. He joined Aberdeen at eight after playing for Kintore United and progressed through the club’s age-group sides. Barron gained senior experience on loan with Brechin City in 2020–21, making 14 appearances and scoring his first senior goal, before joining Kelty Hearts for 2021–22. At Kelty Hearts, he played 14 matches as the club won the League Two title, then returned to Aberdeen in January 2022. He made his Aberdeen debut in a 3–0 Scottish Cup win over Edinburgh City and established himself in the first team. Barron moved to Rangers on a free transfer in July 2024 after his Aberdeen contract expired. Used as a defensive or central midfielder, Connor Barron contributes through ball recovery, pressing, short passing and deep playmaking, and made his Scotland debut against Liechtenstein in June 2025.
