William Conner Antley

William Conner Antley is an American defender from Newnan, Georgia, born in 1995. He attended East Coweta High School and then played for Mercer University from 2013 to 2017, making 66 appearances and earning two All-Southern Conference First Team selections. After graduating with a business management degree, Antley briefly pursued sales before returning to football with Seattle Sounders FC U-23 and South Georgia Tormenta FC. He became a professional with Tormenta in the inaugural 2019 USL League One season, contributing six goals and six assists from a right-sided wingback role. His performances earned Antley the 2019 USL League One Defender of the Year award. He later played for Indy Eleven in 2020 and the Tampa Bay Rowdies from 2021 through 2023. In 2024, D.C. United acquired Antley from Tampa Bay, advancing his climb to Major League Soccer.
