Charlie Steven Allen

Charlie Steven Allen is a Northern Irish midfielder born on 22 November 2003. He developed at Greenisland before joining Linfield in 2016, where he made his senior debut against Coleraine in April 2019 at the age of 15. That appearance made Allen Linfield’s youngest debutant, marking an early step into senior football. In August 2020, he moved to Leeds United and progressed through the academy to Leeds United U23, captaining the side during his development. Allen helped Leeds win the Premier League 2 Division 2 title in 2020/21 and 2022/23, although he did not make a senior appearance for the club. He later returned to Northern Ireland’s domestic game with Ballymena United, while also representing Northern Ireland U21. As a midfielder, Allen has been used in advanced and central roles, combining ball carrying, creative passing and disciplined work without the ball.
