Gabriel Dal Toé Busanello

Gabriel Dal Toé Busanello, commonly known as Busanello, is a Brazilian left-back born in Frederico Westphalen on 29 October 1998. He developed in the youth ranks of União Frederiquense and made his senior debut there in 2015. Chapecoense signed him in 2016, and he gained experience through loan spells before becoming a regular for the club in the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. Busanello helped Chapecoense win that competition and secure promotion to Brazil’s top flight. In early 2022, he joined Ukrainian side Dnipro-1 on loan, but the move was interrupted by the geopolitical situation before he returned to Brazil. He signed for Malmö FF in January 2023 and quickly became the club’s first-choice left-back. At Malmö, Busanello contributes to build-up play, can move inside from the flank, and supports attacks with crossing while retaining a combative defensive role.
