Beto attacks space and runs beyond the line, using his aerial power to threaten the back post. Beto thrives on quick transitions. Beto began at URD Tires while working at KFC to support his dream. He broke through in 2018–2019 with 21 goals for Olímpico do Montijo, earning a move to top flight. At Portimonense (2019–2021) he became the club's top scorer in the 2020–21 season. His move to Udinese in 2021 saw him reach double-figure goals in both first seasons. Beto also represents the Guinea-Bissau national team. On the pitch, Beto runs behind defenses and finishes with one-touch strikes.
