Beñat Turrientes Imaz

Beñat Turrientes is a Spanish central midfielder who developed at Real Sociedad. Born in Beasain on 31 January 2002, he joined the club’s youth setup in 2014, progressing through its academy. In 2019, he began appearing for Real Sociedad C before moving into the club’s reserve pathway. During the 2020–21 campaign, Turrientes played for Real Sociedad II under Xabi Alonso as Sanse secured promotion to the Segunda División. He made his professional debut in August 2021, then reached LaLiga a month later in a 1–0 victory over Elche. Real Sociedad promoted him to the first-team squad in August 2022, and he has continued to feature for the Basque club. Internationally, Turrientes represented Spain at under-17 level and later joined the Spain under-23 setup, winning a silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
