Bertuğ Özgür Yıldırım
Bertuğ Özgür Yıldırım is a Turkish centre-forward born in Istanbul on 12 July 2002. He developed at Sarıyer before moving to Hatayspor in 2021, where he made his Süper Lig debut. Following the 2023 earthquakes and Hatayspor’s withdrawal from the league, Yıldırım spent the remainder of that season on loan at Antalyaspor. In August 2023, he joined Rennes, gaining Ligue 1 and UEFA Europa League experience before moving to Getafe on a season-long loan in August 2024. At Getafe, Bertuğ offered a tall, physical outlet and contributed to the team’s defensive work from the front. He made his senior Türkiye debut in 2023 and scored a late equaliser against Armenia, then was selected for the country’s UEFA Euro 2024 squad. In September 2025, Yıldırım returned to Turkey with Başakşehir on a permanent deal, continuing his development as a centre-forward.
