Benjamin John Wilson
Benjamin John Wilson is a Northern Irish midfielder born in Derry on 5 December 2001. He developed in Coleraine’s youth system before joining Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2018. At Brighton, Wilson progressed through the Under-18 and Under-23 teams and made more than 20 appearances across several seasons. He also scored twice against Leyton Orient in a 2020 EFL Trophy match, although Brighton lost 3–2. After leaving Brighton in 2023, he returned to Northern Ireland with Cliftonville, debuting against Glenavon in August and scoring his first league goal three days later. Wilson then moved to Airdrieonians in June 2024, where he opened his account with a hat-trick against East Kilbride in the Scottish League Cup. He joined The New Saints in July 2025, continuing his senior career in Wales.
