Benjamin Tahirović

Benjamin Tahirović is a Bosnia and Herzegovina international defensive midfielder born in Spånga, Sweden, on 3 March 2003. He developed in AIK’s youth system before moving to FC Djursholm in 2017 and later beginning his senior career with Vasalunds IF. Tahirović made his professional debut for Vasalunds in June 2020 against IFK Berga. AS Roma brought him into their setup in 2021, and he made his first-team debut under José Mourinho against Torino in November 2022. He later helped Roma win the 2022–23 Coppa Italia Primavera before joining Ajax in 2023. At Ajax, Tahirović made 39 appearances in the 2023–24 season, scoring twice and providing four assists. He subsequently moved to Brøndby and represents Bosnia and Herzegovina internationally, having chosen them over Sweden.
