Bradley Scott Stuver

Bradley Scott Stuver is an American goalkeeper born in Cleveland in 1991. He developed at Twinsburg High School, where he recorded 24 shutouts while also playing as a midfielder. At Cleveland State University, Stuver progressed from backup to Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year and finished with 293 career saves, helping the Vikings reach their first NCAA Tournament in three decades. After being selected 32nd overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft, he spent time as an MLS pool goalkeeper with Chivas USA, New England Revolution and Real Salt Lake. He later joined Columbus Crew, making two MLS appearances, and then New York City FC, where he made seven league appearances over three seasons. Austin FC signed Stuver as a free agent in December 2020, and he won the starting role for the club’s inaugural season. In 2022, he saved two penalties in a playoff shootout against Real Salt Lake to secure Austin’s first postseason victory. His distribution and shot-stopping remain central to Austin.
