Brian Schwake

Brian Schwake is an American goalkeeper born in Mount Prospect, Illinois, on 24 August 2001. He developed with Sockers FC Chicago before playing at Prospect High School and DePaul University, where he spent one season in 2019. Schwake began his professional career with Livingston in Scotland in 2020 and gained experience on loan at Linlithgow Rose. He later joined Edinburgh City, helping the club win promotion to League 1 after being named Man of the Match in the play-off final and earning a place in the League 2 Team of the Season. With Greenock Morton in 2022–23, he recorded 11 clean sheets in the Scottish Championship and continued to develop his distribution. Schwake moved to Spain with Castellón in 2023, featuring in the Copa del Rey, including a ten-save performance against Osasuna. Nashville SC signed him in January 2025, bringing his overseas experience back to MLS.
