Bogdan Racovițan

Bogdan Racovițan is a Romanian centre-back born in Dijon, France, on 6 June 2000. He developed at Dijon, joining the club’s academy at five and spending almost 15 years there, while also captaining youth and reserve sides. Between 2019 and 2021, he made 23 Championnat National 3 appearances and scored twice for Dijon’s reserves. In February 2021, Racovițan moved to FC Botoșani, making his senior debut against FCSB in May and scoring his first Liga I goal against Mioveni that October. He joined Raków Częstochowa in January 2022 and won the Polish Cup, Ekstraklasa and Polish Super Cup with the club. Racovițan represented Romania at under-21 level, starting all three group matches at the 2023 European Championship. He made his senior debut in March 2024 and was included in Romania’s Euro 2024 squad, appearing as a substitute against Ukraine and the Netherlands.
