Berke Özer

Berke Özer is a Turkish goalkeeper born in İzmir on 25 May 2000. He began his youth career at Bucaspor in 2011, initially playing as a centre-back, before moving to Altınordu in 2013 and switching to goalkeeping after saving a penalty in a youth match. Fenerbahçe signed Özer in 2018, and he later gained experience on loan at Belgian club Westerlo and Portuguese side Portimonense. After returning to Türkiye, he made his Süper Lig debut for Fenerbahçe in 2021. Özer then joined Eyüpspor, helping the club win the 2023–24 TFF 1. Lig title while recording 14 clean sheets in 28 matches. In August 2025, he moved to Lille, where he continued his development as a goalkeeper in Ligue 1. He has also been involved with Türkiye, and his tall frame, reflexes and preference for short distribution reflect the modern, ball-playing role.
