Birger Solberg Meling

Birger Solberg Meling is a Norwegian left-back from Stavanger. He developed at Viking before joining Middlesbrough's academy in 2013, then returned to Norway and signed for Stabæk in 2014. At Stabæk, Meling established himself as a first-team defender before moving to Rosenborg in February 2017. He helped Rosenborg win consecutive Eliteserien titles in 2017 and 2018, followed by the Norwegian Cup in 2018. In 2020, he moved to Nîmes, where he scored and assisted on his Ligue 1 debut against Brest in a 4–0 victory. Meling then joined Rennes in 2021, making 73 appearances across two seasons before returning to Scandinavia with FC Copenhagen in August 2023. He has also represented Norway and remains part of FC Copenhagen's squad, offering experience at left-back and defensive flexibility.
