Balázs Attila Megyeri

Balázs Attila Megyeri is a Hungarian goalkeeper born in Budapest in 1990. He developed at Ferencvárosi before spending 2007 with Bristol City’s youth setup and returning to Hungary the following year. Megyeri made his senior Ferencváros debut in 2009, then moved to Olympiacos in 2010. Initially a reserve, he became the Greek club’s starting goalkeeper during the 2011–12 season and helped Olympiacos win five Super League titles and three Greek Cups during his spell. He was also named Greece’s Goalkeeper of the Year and Best Hungarian Player Abroad. After leaving Greece, Megyeri joined Getafe in Spain, then Greuther Fürth in Germany, where he made 40 appearances across two seasons. Later spells included Atromitos, Göztepe and AEL Limassol, followed by Debreceni VSC in 2022. In 2025, he joined ETO FC Győr, continuing a career built across several European leagues.
