Benjamin Maximilian Lundt

Benjamin Maximilian Lundt is a German goalkeeper born in Berlin on September 24, 1995. He developed in the Hertha BSC academy before joining Hertha BSC II in 2013, gaining senior experience in the Regionalliga Nordost. Lundt then moved to the United States and played for the University of Akron, helping the Zips reach the NCAA semifinals in 2017 and the national final in 2018. FC Cincinnati selected him 37th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, after which he joined Louisville City on loan. In 2020, Lundt won USL Championship Goalkeeper of the Year and earned All-League First Team recognition after recording seven shutouts and a 0.73 goals-against average. He later played for Phoenix Rising FC, leading the league with 115 saves in 2022. St. Louis City acquired Lundt in January 2023, where he has served primarily as a backup while making notable MLS appearances.
