Benjamin Pascal Lecomte

Benjamin Pascal Lecomte is a French goalkeeper born in Paris on 26 April 1991. He developed through Arcueil Municipal, Antony Sports and Chamois Niortais before joining Lorient, where he made his professional debut and signed his first professional contract in 2011. A 2013–14 loan to Dijon gave Lecomte regular Ligue 2 football, and he returned to Lorient to establish himself as a Ligue 1 starter. After Lorient’s relegation in 2017, he moved to Montpellier, starting every league match in 2017–18 and earning recognition from France’s senior setup without making a senior appearance. Monaco signed Lecomte in 2019, and he helped the club finish third in Ligue 1 in 2020–21. Loans to Atlético Madrid and Espanyol brought contrasting experiences, including no first-team appearances for Atlético. Lecomte returned to Montpellier in January 2023 before joining Fulham in July 2025, adding experienced goalkeeping depth to the Premier League squad.
