Benjamín Kuscevic Jaramillo
Benjamín Kuscevic Jaramillo is a Chilean defender born in Santiago on 2 May 1996. He developed at Unión Española before joining Universidad Católica’s academy in 2011, signing his first professional contract in 2013. Kuscevic made his competitive debut for Universidad Católica in a Copa Chile match in May 2014 and later spent a year on loan with Real Madrid’s youth setup. Returning to Chile in 2015, he became an important part of Universidad Católica’s successful side, helping the club win four Primera División titles and two Supercopas between 2016 and 2020. In November 2020, Kuscevic moved to Palmeiras, where he won the Copa Libertadores in 2020 and 2021 and a Copa do Brasil. He joined Coritiba in 2023, then transferred to Fortaleza, becoming a key figure in the defence during 2024 and 2025. Kuscevic has represented Chile and joined Toronto FC on loan from Fortaleza for the 2026 MLS season.
