Bledian Krasniqi

Bledian Krasniqi is a Swiss midfielder who developed at FC Zurich’s academy in his hometown. Born in Zurich in 2001, he joined the club’s youth system in 2009. He progressed through the academy and represented Swiss youth teams, making 38 appearances and scoring five goals between 2016 and 2023. He made his senior debut against AEK Larnaca in the Europa League in 2018, before joining FC Wil on a two-year loan in 2019. At Wil, Krasniqi recorded 70 appearances, six goals and four assists. Returning to Zurich in 2021, he became an important first-team midfielder and helped FC Zurich win the 2021/22 Swiss Super League title. In 2024/25, he produced five goals and four assists in 34 appearances. He remains with FC Zurich, operating centrally while combining creative passing with defensive support and positional flexibility.
