Brandur Hendriksson Olsen
Brandur Hendriksson Olsen is a Faroese midfielder from Skálavík, born in 1995. He developed at B71 Sandoy before moving to FC Copenhagen’s academy as a teenager in 2011. At Copenhagen, he reached the first team and scored in extra time of the 2015 Danish Cup final against FC Vestsjælland. After a loan at Vendsyssel FF, Brandur joined Randers FC, but a cruciate ligament injury in 2017 interrupted his progress. He later continued his career with FH Hafnarfjörður and Helsingborgs IF, becoming the first Faroese player in Sweden’s Allsvenskan, before playing for Fredrikstad FK in Norway. Brandur also became a regular for the Faroe Islands, making his senior debut in 2014 and scoring in the 2–1 win over Greece in 2015. In 2025, he returned home to join NSÍ Runavík, adding experience and central-midfield control.
