Betuel Hansen

Betuel Hansen is a Faroese midfielder who has built his senior career around NSÍ Runavík. Born on 14 March 1997, he developed in the Silkeborg IF U19 programme in Denmark before returning to the Faroe Islands and joining NSÍ in July 2016. Hansen established himself in the club’s first-team setup and became a regular presence in domestic football. His honours include the 2017 Løgmanssteypid, the Faroese Cup, won with NSÍ. He has also represented the club in UEFA Europa League and Conference League qualifying, gaining experience against opposition from beyond the Faroe Islands. At international level, Hansen received call-ups to the Faroe Islands under-21 team. Primarily a central or defensive midfielder, Betuel Hansen has also operated in a more advanced role, contributing positional discipline and midfield balance for NSÍ.
