Benjamin Thomas Davies

Benjamin Thomas Davies is a left-back who has also operated across the back line for Tottenham and Wales. Born in Neath, Wales, in 1993, he began his development with Viborg FF in Denmark before returning home to join Swansea City’s academy. After breaking into Swansea’s senior side in 2012, Davies became a regular and helped the club win the 2013 League Cup. He moved to Tottenham in July 2014 and established himself as a dependable option in a long Premier League career. Initially used as an overlapping full-back, Benjamin Davies later adapted to a left-sided centre-back role in Antonio Conte’s back three. His left foot, positional discipline and recovery work have supported that versatility, while his build-up passing allows him to step into midfield when required. At international level, Davies has represented Wales, including at Euro 2016, where he made a notable goal-line clearance against Slovakia.
