Bakari Camara
Bakari Camara is a Mauritanian midfielder born on 4 January 1994 in Aulnay-sous-Bois, France. Standing 1.89 metres, he developed outside the elite academy system and began his senior career with Montagnarde in the 2015–16 season. Camara joined JA Drancy in 2016 and spent four seasons there, recording 88 league appearances and four goals. He later continued his progression through lower-tier French football before returning to the National level with Paris 13 Atletico. In September 2023, he moved to Villefranche, performances that preceded his July 2024 transfer to AS Nancy-Lorraine. Camara made his Mauritania debut against Benin on 24 September 2022 and has been involved in AFCON and World Cup qualifying. He is currently listed with Rouen, where his defensive-midfield experience adds height and protection in front of the defence.
