Ben Salim Boina

Ben Salim Boina is a Comorian goalkeeper born in Marseille on 19 July 1991. He developed in the Marseille area before beginning his senior career with Marseille Endoume and Athletico Marseille. Boina also played for FC Martigues during his progression through the French lower divisions. He later joined Epinal, where he established himself in the Championnat National and made 28 appearances during the 2023–24 season. He subsequently moved to Istres, continuing his career in the Bouches-du-Rhône region. At international level, Boina represents Comoros and gained wider recognition at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. Against Morocco, he made several important saves, including a penalty stop, despite a 2–0 defeat. After helping Comoros beat Ghana 3–2, an injury ruled him out of the round-of-16 match against Cameroon, when outfield player Chaker Alhadhur played in goal.
