Blendi Baftiu

Blendi Baftiu is a Kosovo midfielder whose career has developed through clubs in Kosovo and Albania. He began in the youth ranks of Ramiz Sadiku before moving to Skënderbeu Korçë in 2015, where he spent a season with the under-19 side. Baftiu returned to Prishtina in 2016, then gained senior experience on loan at Flamurtari during the 2017–18 season. In 2018, he joined Ballkani, establishing himself as an attacking midfielder and finishing as the Kosovo league’s top scorer in 2019–20. He later played for Drita from 2022 to 2024 and Llapi from 2024 to 2025, before returning to Prishtina. At club level, Baftiu has been used as a creative midfielder who can also support attacks from advanced positions. Internationally, he represented Kosovo Under-21 during the 2019 European Championship qualifying campaign and won a senior cap in a friendly against Sweden in January 2020.
