Benoît Ntambue Badiashile Mukinayi Baya

Benoît Ntambue Badiashile Mukinayi Baya is a French centre-back born in Limoges on 26 March 2001. He began playing at Limoges FC before developing at SC Malesherbes, where he spent 2008 to 2016. In 2016, Badiashile joined AS Monaco’s academy and progressed into the first team. He made his professional debut against Paris Saint-Germain in November 2018 and soon became a regular as Monaco fought to avoid relegation. His early senior career also included Champions League appearances against Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. After 135 appearances for Monaco, Badiashile moved to Chelsea in January 2023 and kept a clean sheet on his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace. Standing 1.94 metres, he offers a strong aerial presence and contributes to build-up play, while his senior France debut came in September 2022.
