Brandon Anthony Austin

Brandon Anthony Austin is an English goalkeeper born in Hemel Hempstead on 8 January 1999. He began at Chelsea as a schoolboy before joining Tottenham’s academy in 2007, progressing through the club’s age-group sides. During the 2016/17 season, Austin made 16 appearances for Tottenham Under-18s after limited opportunities in his first scholarship year. He gained senior experience on loan with Danish side Viborg FF in January 2020, making 14 appearances, then moved to Orlando City in 2021, where he made five MLS appearances. Returning to Tottenham, Austin remained a patient presence around the first-team squad and signed a contract extension in May 2024. He made his competitive Premier League debut against Newcastle United on 4 January 2025, producing a performance that earned TNT Sports’ Player of the Match award despite a 2–1 defeat. Austin’s distribution and willingness to operate as a sweeper support Tottenham’s high defensive line.
