Tah Brian Anunga

Tah Brian Anunga is a Cameroonian central midfielder born in Yaoundé on August 10, 1996. He began his American professional pathway with Wilmington Hammerheads in 2015 before spending time with Carolina Dynamo in 2016. Anunga then joined Charleston Battery, where he played from 2017 to 2019, won the club’s 2018 Most Valuable Player award and earned USL All-League First Team recognition. He moved to Nashville SC ahead of the club’s inaugural MLS season in 2020 and remained there through 2024. With Nashville, Anunga developed from a physical ball-winner into a more disciplined midfielder who screened the defence, disrupted transitions and retained possession through safe distribution. He also represented Cameroon at under-17, under-20 and under-23 level, captaining the under-20 side. In January 2025, Anunga signed for FC Cincinnati, adding defensive cover and central-midfield experience.
