Brou Benjamin Angoua

Brou Benjamin Angoua is an Ivorian defender born in Anyama on 28 November 1986. He developed in Côte d’Ivoire with Toumodi FC and Africa Sports d’Abidjan before moving to Budapest Honvéd in 2006. In Hungary, Angoua established himself in senior football and won the Magyar Kupa in 2007 and 2009. He transferred to Valenciennes in 2010, spending four seasons in France’s Ligue 1 and building a regular role in central defence. In 2014, he joined Guingamp, where he also appeared in the Europa League during the 2014–15 campaign. Angoua later played for the New England Revolution, including a 2017 loan, and Levadiakos in Greece. He subsequently returned to France with Stade Briochin, continuing a career marked by central-defensive work and occasional duty at right-back or defensive midfield.
