Baba Alhassan

Baba Alhassan is a Ghanaian central midfielder born in Accra on 3 January 2000. He developed at African Talent Football Academy before moving to Spain in 2018, where he joined Real Valladolid and continued his football education with the reserves. On 7 October 2020, Alhassan joined FC Hermannstadt as a free agent and made his senior debut soon afterwards. He scored his first professional goal against Politehnica Iași in May 2021. After Hermannstadt’s relegation, he helped the club finish as Liga II runners-up in 2021–22, contributing seven goals during the promotion campaign. Alhassan returned to the top flight, scored twice against Mioveni on the opening day of 2022–23, and later joined FCSB in December 2023. In late 2025, he switched international allegiance to Uganda and made his debut for the Cranes.
