Aurélio Gabriel Ulineia Buta

Aurélio Buta, whose full name is Aurélio Gabriel Ulineia Buta, is a defender born in Luanda, Angola, on 10 February 1997. He developed in Portugal with RC Águeda and SC Beira-Mar before joining Benfica’s academy in 2011. Buta made his professional debut for Benfica B in August 2016 and represented Portugal at several youth levels. In 2017, he moved to Royal Antwerp on loan, and the transfer later became permanent. At Antwerp, he established himself and won the Belgian Cup in the 2019–20 season. Buta joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022, although a knee injury delayed his competitive return until January 2023. After a loan spell at Reims in 2024–25, during which he helped the club reach the Coupe de France final, Buta continued his career across European football.
