Antonio Sánchez Navarro

Antonio Sánchez is a Spanish central midfielder from Palma de Mallorca, born on 22 April 1997. He developed in Mallorca’s academy before gaining senior experience away from the club. Sánchez joined Barakaldo for the 2018–19 season, making 38 appearances in Segunda División B. He then moved to Mirandés in 2019–20, making his professional debut against Real Oviedo and scoring his first professional goal against Huesca. Returning to Mallorca in 2020, he helped the club win promotion to LaLiga, featuring in 35 matches and scoring three goals. Sánchez made his top-flight debut against Real Madrid in September 2021 and scored his first LaLiga goal against Sevilla the following month. Primarily a central midfielder, he has also covered wider attacking roles and contributes through work rate, ball progression and defensive effort.
