Antônio Carlos Cunha Capocasali Júnior

Antônio Carlos is a Brazilian centre-back born in Rio de Janeiro on March 7, 1993. He developed in Fluminense’s academy, where he won three youth Carioca titles before being released as a teenager. After beginning his senior path with Corinthians in 2011, Antônio Carlos made his professional debut in 2012 and belonged to the squad that won the Copa Libertadores and FIFA Club World Cup. He later spent time on loan at Avaí before joining Palmeiras in 2017, where he made 22 appearances during the club’s 2018 Série A title-winning campaign and earned a permanent move. In 2020, he moved to Orlando City SC, becoming a regular defensive presence and helping the club win the 2022 US Open Cup. Antônio Carlos subsequently continued his career with Houston Dynamo, bringing experience from Brazilian and American competition to the centre of the defense.
