Ángel Fortuño Viñas
Ángel Fortuño Viñas is a Spanish goalkeeper born in Barcelona on 5 October 2001. He began at CE Júpiter before joining Espanyol’s academy in 2009, progressing through the club’s youth teams. After more than a decade in the system, Fortuño moved into Espanyol II ahead of the 2020–21 season. He made his reserve debut on 18 October 2020 in a 2–1 win over AE Prat. Fortuño was part of Espanyol’s squad during its 2020–21 Segunda División title-winning campaign and later established himself as a regular reserve goalkeeper. For the 2024–25 season, Espanyol promoted him to the first-team squad, where he initially served as third-choice behind Joan García and Fernando Pacheco. At 1.83 metres, Ángel Fortuño combines reflexes and bravery in one-on-one situations with composed distribution and proactive goalkeeping.
