Domingos André Ribeiro Almeida

Domingos André Ribeiro Almeida, known as André Almeida, is a Portuguese midfielder born in Guimarães on 30 May 2000. He developed in Vitória SC’s academy, progressing through the club’s youth structure before gaining senior experience with its reserve side. Almeida made his Primeira Liga debut for Vitória in August 2019, appearing in a 1–1 draw with Boavista, and scored his first professional goal soon afterwards against Rio Ave. He established himself in the first team during the 2020–21 season and later completed a move to Valencia in August 2022. At Valencia, André Almeida operates mainly as an attacking or central midfielder, using passing and ball retention to connect phases of play while contributing in defensive duels. He has also represented Portugal at youth level, including at the 2023 European Under-21 Championship, where he scored in a draw with the Netherlands.
