Anderson Correia de Barros

Anderson Correia is a Cyprus international left-back who was born in São Paulo on 6 May 1991. He developed in Brazil with Santo André from 2010 to 2012, Paulista from 2012 to 2014, and Sport Club São Paulo in 2014. That year, he moved to Portugal to join Boavista, making his European professional debut against Braga and spending three seasons in the Primeira Liga. Anderson then continued his career in Cyprus with Nea Salamina from 2017 to 2020, before joining Anorthosis Famagusta. At Anorthosis, he contributed to the team’s Cyprus Cup triumph in 2020–21 and featured in the UEFA Conference League. He joined Aris Limassol in 2024 and remains registered there as a left-back. Awarded Cypriot citizenship in June 2023, Anderson later made his international debut for Cyprus against Georgia and became involved in European Championship and World Cup qualifying.
