Álvaro Tejero Sacristán

Álvaro Tejero is a Spanish right-back born in Madrid on July 20, 1996. He joined Real Madrid’s academy in 2005, progressing through the club’s youth system before making his senior debut with Real Madrid C in 2015. Tejero later featured for Castilla and made his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey against Cádiz, followed by a La Liga appearance against Deportivo de La Coruña in 2017. In 2018, he moved to Albacete on loan, where regular football helped establish him as an attacking full-back. He joined Eibar in 2019 and spent several seasons there, with a loan spell at Zaragoza in 2020–21. Tejero subsequently represented Espanyol before joining Leganes, where he remains listed. Across his career, Álvaro Tejero has combined right-back duties with the ability to operate on the opposite flank, contributing width through crossing and supporting build-up play.
