Alejandro Pozo Pozo

Álex Pozo, whose full name is Alejandro Pozo Pozo, is a Spanish left-back born in Huévar del Aljarafe in 1999. He began at Huévar CF before joining Sevilla’s academy at eight, where he developed initially as a number 10 and winger. Pozo progressed to Sevilla Atlético and made his Segunda División debut against Girona in August 2016. He later gained senior experience with Granada CF, Mallorca and Eibar, contributing four goals to Granada’s 2018–19 promotion campaign. Returning to Sevilla, he was part of the club’s 2019–20 UEFA Europa League-winning campaign. A move to Almería proved important: he helped the side win the 2021–22 Segunda División title before signing permanently. In July 2025, Pozo moved abroad for the first time, joining Jagiellonia Białystok on loan, where his wide role has again allowed him to contribute in attack.
