Alef Santos de Araujo
Alef Santos de Araujo is a Brazilian midfielder born in Salvador on 6 November 1996. He was associated with Atlântico-BA in 2017 before moving abroad from Brazilian football. Alef later joined Georgia’s Dinamo Batumi, where he was included in the squad for the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign. On 20 January 2025, he moved to Armenia to continue his career with FC Urartu. Primarily a defensive midfielder, Alef has also been used as a right-back and central defender, providing cover across the defensive structure. His progression from Brazil to the Caucasus has been defined by movement between midfield and defence, with FC Urartu representing his latest recorded club chapter.
