Alberto Oliveira Baio

Alberto Oliveira Baio, known as Alberto Baio, is a Portuguese defender born in Santo Tirso on 29 September 2003. He developed through the youth system at Vitória de Guimarães, progressing from the academy to senior football in Portugal. Baio’s performances for Vitória led to a move to Juventus in January 2025, where he made his first-team debut in the Coppa Italia before appearing in Serie A. His stay in Italy was brief, and he returned to Portugal with FC Porto in July 2025. At Porto, Alberto Baio is used primarily on the right side of defence, with the physical profile to support both defensive and attacking phases.
