Aitor Ruibal García

Aitor Ruibal García is a Spanish right-back from Sallent de Llobregat, born on 22 March 1996. He developed in Catalan football before joining Real Betis in December 2015 and continuing his progression with Betis Deportivo. During the 2018–19 season, Ruibal played for Rayo Majadahonda, where he operated primarily as a striker and scored 12 goals in La Liga 2. He then joined Leganes for the 2019–20 campaign, gaining top-flight experience while increasingly contributing defensive work from wide areas. Returning to Betis in 2020, he became a versatile option under Manuel Pellegrini, capable of covering right-back and wide attacking roles while pressing and supporting build-up play. Ruibal was part of the Betis team that won the 2021–22 Copa del Rey, and his adaptability has remained a defining feature of his career.
