Agostinho Azevedo Magalhães

Agostinho Magalhães is a Guinea-Bissau forward born in Bissau on 1 July 2000. Standing 1.84 metres tall, he developed in Portuguese football, spending time in the Casa Pia youth ranks before joining Rio Ave’s reserve and under-23 structures. For Casa Pia Under-19s, he scored four goals in 12 appearances during the 2018/19 season. At Rio Ave, he featured for the B team and under-23 side between 2020 and 2022, recording three goals in 12 Liga Revelação matches in 2021/22. Magalhães then moved to Leixões, where he made 31 league appearances in 2022/23 and added two goals in 15 league appearances the following campaign. After a spell with São João de Ver, he continued his career with Kaisar. Primarily an attacker, Magalhães has been used centrally and from either wing, combining physical presence with direct running.
