Afonso Bastardo Moreira
Afonso Bastardo Moreira attacks space from the left, runs beyond the line, and threatens the channel for Lyon. Afonso Moreira rose from Sporting CP’s academy, debuted in 2023, and joined Lyon in 2025. He thrives on quick feet and pace. His move to Lyon in 2025 was a turning point; he scored a European goal against Basel in 2025. In 2026 he set a club record with a 45-second goal. Moreira operates as a left-sided inside forward, linking play with one-touch passes and cutting inside to shoot. His pace and control drive counter-attacks, and he is a regular for Portugal's U21s.
