Adebayo Fapetu

Adebayo Fapetu is an English midfielder who developed through a decade in the Arsenal academy before leaving the club in 2021. He joined Derby County on a two-year scholarship that summer and quickly became a regular for the under-18 side. In 2021–22, Fapetu made 19 appearances and scored once for Derby’s under-18s, while also gaining experience with the under-23s. He followed that with five goals in 22 under-18 appearances in 2022–23. Ahead of the next campaign, he signed his first professional contract with Derby County. Fapetu made his senior debut on 8 November 2023, playing 79 minutes in a 4–1 EFL Trophy win over Wolverhampton Wanderers under-21s. After leaving Derby in 2024, he joined Cliftonville in August 2025, where he made his debut and later scored his first Premiership goal.
