Ágúst Orri Þorsteinsson

Ágúst Orri Þorsteinsson is an Icelandic midfielder born on 14 January 2005. He developed in the youth systems of Malmö FF in Sweden and Genoa in Italy, gaining experience in both Swedish and Italian football. At Malmö, he represented the club at under-17 and under-19 levels. He later played in Genoa’s Primavera 1 setup, adding experience of Italian youth competition. Þorsteinsson returned to Iceland in early 2025 and joined Breiðablik, where he has featured as a right-sided or central midfielder. His roles can also extend across the left side or into more advanced areas, reflecting his positional versatility. He has represented Iceland at youth level and is listed with the Iceland under-21 squad, while his Breiðablik career has included European qualifying and Conference League involvement.
