Armel Junior Zohouri
Armel Junior Zohouri is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a right-back. Born on 5 April 2001, he developed at Racing Club d’Abidjan and progressed into the club’s senior side, helping it win the Ivorian league title. Nice signed Zohouri in September 2020, and he soon moved to Lausanne-Sport on loan for first-team experience. He made his professional debut for Lausanne in a 2–1 defeat by Basel on 25 November 2020, before joining the Swiss club permanently in 2021. In August 2022, Zohouri transferred to Sheriff Tiraspol, where he won the Moldovan league and cup double in the 2022–23 season. He is listed with Reims and has also been linked with Ivory Coast at international level. Primarily a right-back, Zohouri can cover at centre-back and contributes through positioning, ball control and forward distribution. He made his senior Ivory Coast debut in October 2025.
