Aaron Zehnter

Aaron Zehnter is a German defender born in Sonderhofen on 31 October 2004. He developed with SV Sonderhofen, Würzburger FV and Würzburger Kickers before joining FC Augsburg’s academy in 2019. With Augsburg’s under-19 side in 2021/22, Zehnter recorded four goals and 14 assists in 20 matches as the team won the A-Junioren-Bundesliga South/Southwest Staffelmeister title. He made his Bundesliga debut for Augsburg on 3 February 2023 in a victory over Bayer Leverkusen. In January 2024, he moved to SC Paderborn 07, where he produced four assists in 15 appearances in 2023/24 and followed with three goals and nine assists in 32 matches the next season. His performances established him as one of the division’s leading attacking full-backs and led to a 2025 transfer to VfL Wolfsburg. Zehnter also represents Germany at under-20 level.
