Akim Zedadka

Akim Zedadka is an Algerian right-back born in Pertuis, France, on 30 May 1995. He began his senior career with Istres before spending 2015–17 with Lens, largely in reserve football. After developing in the lower divisions and representing Marignane, Zedadka joined Clermont Foot in 2019. He helped Clermont secure promotion to Ligue 1 in 2021 and started 37 of the club’s 38 league matches in the 2021–22 season. Lille signed him in 2022, after which he moved to Auxerre on loan as he sought regular first-team football. Zedadka later continued his career with Sabah FA in Azerbaijan. Primarily a right-back, he can also operate as a wing-back, contributing through overlapping runs, short passing and positional defending. Born in France, Zedadka represents Algeria and made his senior debut in a 2–1 victory over Iran in June 2022.
