Abdulla Xaybulayev

Abdulla Xaybulayev is an Azerbaijani central midfielder born in Khasavyurt, Russia, on 19 August 2001. He developed in the youth system of Anzhi Makhachkala, progressing through the club’s under-19 and reserve sides between 2018 and 2019. In July 2019, Xaybulayev moved to Azerbaijan and joined Sabah FA, continuing his development with the club’s youth and second team. He made his Azerbaijan Premier League debut for Sabah against Sumgayit on 4 May 2021. Seeking regular senior football, he spent time on loan at Georgia’s FC Samtredia from January 2023 before returning to Sabah in early 2024. Xaybulayev has since featured for Azerbaijan, adding international experience to his club career. At Sabah, he operates centrally as a deep midfielder, helping screen the defence, retain possession and progress play through measured distribution.
